A Feast of Flavor
Founded by Becca Brady and Tiffany Ting, Hometown Poké is the first business in Rhode Island to offer poke bowls, a Hawaiian food staple, and they add their own exotic and flavorful twists. Inspired by years of traveling to Hawaii and living in California, their bowls blend the rich flavors of traditional Hawaiian poké, the health consciousness of Californian cuisine, and a focus on sustainability through supporting local farms and fisheries. They use only high quality sushi-grade fish, shrimp, chicken, and local, organic produce whenever possible.

The Portu-Galo food truck, founded in 2013 by Johnson & Wales graduate and passionate food lover, Levi Medina, was the first authentic Portuguese food truck in the country.
Portu-Galo’s mission is to serve modernized yet authentic Portuguese street food to Southern New England with a focus in the diverse PVD area. The food served is made with the freshest ingredients possible. One of the most popular menu items includes the “bifana” sandwich, which can be considered Portugal’s national sandwich. It is made with thinly sliced marinated pork loin that can be served various ways on a locally baked Portuguese roll.

Reds Street Kitchen
Reds Street Kitchen Founder and Rhode Island native Max Reeves has a kitchen philosophy that supports farm-to-table, local, and organic ingredients. Max has a kitchen philosophy that supports farm-to-table, local, and organic ingredients. At age 15 he was working as a short order cook. In 2003, he received a BA in Culinary Arts & Nutrition from Johnson & Wales University. Following this, he interned at Massachusetts General Hospital’s dietary department and became a registered dietitian in 2005.
Reeves has held various positions, ranging from line cook to chef de cuisine, at multiple restaurants in Chicago, Boston, and throughout New England — including time under James Beard Award-winning chefs at No. 9 Park and Radius in Boston.
Reds cuisine blends classic and modern preparation techniques specializing in European and Pan-Mediterranean flavor profiles.
